Millencolin For Monkeys

As mentioned elsewhere, they have never told me anything and continue to say nothing, then when I bought the punk or rama on millecolin, the skip was practically default! :D I had never listened to it in full (just a few scattered pieces), finally since you talked about it so well on several occasions, I gave it a listen. Well, apart from "Boring Planet," "Trendy Winds," "Lights Out" (which is true, very Lindberg) and "Twentytwo" (which I already knew well, beautiful), the impression is always the same, too sweet, really too sweet (Nikola is one of the best melodic voices, definitely not!) and not convincing in the ska interludes, sure, better than M15 etc., but nothing special. PS: What do you mean by similarity in the registry with the singer of the Descendents? Are you around 40 like him? I thought you looked younger.

I share the part about Mario, and I think I wrote it a few posts ago. Among friends, postmen, cards, Constantini, and tronisti, I believe it is one of the main culprits of the current mess of Italian TV. You might have spared the part about the Bluvertigo; even Morga has contributed to the current disgrace by collaborating on X Factor and exposing himself to low-quality programs, etc.

The manga that are popular now are the nerdy nonsense, not the comics; in Italy, one of the few traditions we have contributed a lot to!

Better before the switch to Fat Wreck, when they were rougher; then, well, for me they got too poppy, too sugary, all that stuff with the double voices, half-emo melodies, the acoustic interludes, etc.! You did well to review oh calcutta, which again represented a shift back to the past, the punch returns, speed, and the super strained voice of brendad in the foreground, obviously much better than that sugary voice of the latest chris; in short, the only one worth mentioning after the switch to FW. As for the review, there could have been more said.

In fact, I said the same things about Giusy Ferreri on paper. Those releases were definitely out of place! As for Alexia, praising her and giving her a 5 doesn't mean discussing her as if she were Holiday or Fitzgerald; obviously, we remain within that easy genre known as pop. Certain comparisons just can't hold up or be proposed, considering we're talking about completely different realities. It doesn't seem to me that I've read such pompous tones in this review and post (come on, worse has been written about 13-year-old metal reviews on Burzum & co.). The user expressed their admiration for Alexia (which we don't share, okay, but it's always a matter of taste—let's come to terms with that), the fact that she has changed genres, that they like her, etc. In short, nothing transcendental (instead of exaggerating and overhyping Marco Carta's page, there's no doubt about that!), but then again, who cares? I've seen people give 4s and 5s to crappy grindcore albums, and you think that person won't speak well of Alexia if they like her? Objectivity and subjectivity up to a certain point... then regarding the album, whether it's really a 5 or a 1, I can't express myself because I haven't listened to it, but for me, from what I know, if I had to assess Alexia globally, she's a 2-star artist for me, 1.5—not certainly a 1 or zero like Marco Carta. So it's also wrong to compare them. Let's remember that whether we like it or not, tastes or not, this has been around for about twenty years and has covered quite a bit (the results are what they are, but at least it's still something rather than a Ferreri with zero personality copying Winehouse verbatim); that one is nothing, a recommended one that popped out of some crappy reality show. In short, it's nothing. That both of them are low-quality stuff is undeniable, but I don't see why all this fuss; relax. :D
