4 Hero Two Pages
Voto:
Before two pages, during the DnB period, there were 4 (with Gus and Ian, co-founders along with Marc and Dego of their Reinforced who used to get involved in all the EPs), but right, on two pages there were already just the 2 current ones. :) P.S.: a new project was released recently, an album with their most relevant tracks covered in a jazz/nujazz style, definitely worth a listen! Anyway, sooner or later I’ll see about editing that review, really poor for such a masterpiece.

ps: the lyrics of "a zero" are some of the most banal (and off-key) I've ever heard!! Listen to believe. ;)

Great ass, but I had absolutely no idea she made "music"! This comes as a complete surprise to me. Well, curious about your two enthusiastic reviews and the "enlightened" taxirider ("""God created viola but decided to share it only with me"""!), I listened to it - with quite a bit of skepticism, I must admit - and it turned out to be exactly what I expected: a mediocre pseudofolk record that imitates those British singer-songwriter+guitar acts with a pseudo-alternative intellectual pose included. The songs are far too easy, and the voice is weak, with virtually no personality, plus a very rough English pronunciation. The first two tracks aren't bad at all; I listened to them a few times :D but the rest gets lost in a glass of water; I sense neither "pure rock" nor ambient (?!) or electronic (??!!). Not as bad as I expected, that's for sure, but never a 4-star record!

So many beautiful trip hop things have come out in recent years, but it seems like you only limit yourselves to Portishead + Massive Attack. Don't get me wrong, I really love the former, but why only review them, and what's more, albums that haven't even been released yet?

Experimentation? Creativity? It's turntablism. The comparison with various 50 Cent etc. is out of place... if you really have to compare it to recent stuff, compare it with X-ecutioners, Q-Bert, Kid Koala, etc. Anyway, you say little to nothing about the album.

-8- : maybe because people are tired of all this metal? (;

but where's the experimentalist?!!? exaggerated reception, mediocre album, and a very weak voice. the only saving grace was le petit navire (wonderful).

if all this anticipation-word-of-mouth-media-bo mbardment hadn't been created, no one would have considered it. it would just be yet another sci-fi diabetic package. special effects do not make a film a masterpiece.
