Hello everyone. Well, in truth this album deserves more than to be left without a rating. Rather than getting a one. Indeed, it would be unjudgeable. But this time I felt quite harsh. However, aside from the undeniable pianistic qualities of the good Antonio Ballista (and the excellent proposing-experimental vein of the vintage Battiato), ratings are ultimately meaningless, but the judgment I expressed in the review, basically, doesn’t change. I am not afraid of Battiato's experiments in the seventies (in truth I know the Battiato of the seventies well, I like less what he has done afterward), but I find he has done better elsewhere. Ultimately, this eponymous little record is by far inferior to the previously mentioned Fetus and Pollution (to which I am particularly attached, and I would have given a well-deserved five). I also consider it inferior to Sulle Corde di Aries and Clic, where certainly our Battiato is no less daring than in this album. But it is also richer in content. Which is lacking here. Or perhaps it is me who, as I underline in the gloomy conclusion of the review, struggles to grasp them. "Quando tu sei partita, mi donasti una rosa..."
