@MICHOOS WHAT: the SPIRITUAL BEGGARS are the band of Michael Ammott (ex-CARCASS, ARCH ENEMY). They have released 5 albums: Spiritual Beggars (1994) - Another Way to Shine (1996) - Mantra III (1998) - Ad Astra (2000) - On Fire (2002) - Demons (2005). In my opinion, listen to "Another Way To Shine": very stoner.

Thanks for the advice LARROK! Sahg is on the way! It’s great to discover two new bands in one review! And to think there are people (like GIUDICEWOODCOCK) who give a 1 to reviews of bands they don't know... just because they’ve never heard of them!

Here it is! Great album, although it gets a bit repetitive towards the end. The track I liked the most is definitely "Empire's End." The sounds are very captivating; still staying in the stoner realm and in Sweden, my favorites are the SPIRITUAL BEGGARS. Listen to "Another Way To Shine" and let me know what you think!

I don't rate the review; memories are important, we all have our own different musical journeys. Anyway, the album is horrendous, these Italian version Tokio Hotel (like many other bands) with their fake rebellious attitude and choruses, I just can't listen to them.

Beautiful album, and the sound of SONIC YOUTH is truly exhilarating. My favorite is WASHING MACHINE, perhaps the most languid and sad. Nice review.

Great advice! And a very thorough review. I’m downloading it, listening to it, and moving on to the rating, which reading your words I really think will go from 3 to 5. CHAO.

Fabri Fibra is a philosopher. And this is a double 5.

@GIUDICEWOODCOCK: indeed, it’s not the cover of the album in question, which is almost unfindable online, but a live photo. Anyway, it seems STRANGE to me that you would vote on an album you’ve never heard and give a 1 to a review of a band you’ve never even heard of. In my opinion, DeBaser is also for this, discovering new bands, some good, some not. If you want reviews on Guns n' Roses, there are plenty of them, go give a 5 to those you already know...

Great review, awesome album. And above all, what a nostalgia for those bands that played with heart and balls!
