A lot of power for these War Of Destruction, a Danish band that delivers hardcore heavily leaning towards thrash metal with evident Teutonic influences.
"He Dodes Hvisken", conceived between 1984 and 1985, nevertheless shows a much more "heavy" approach compared to other bands in the Danish underground scene, and even if the genre can be likened to compatriots Razor Blades, they surely come closer to other Scandinavian formations like Sound Of Disaster (Sweden) or Siste Dagers Helvete (Norway).
There are also some mid-paced tracks like "Lejemordere", yet always heavy especially in terms of sound, while the weak point in my opinion is the drumming, particularly in the less fast songs. The most enjoyable episodes to me remain "Isolation", "Jae ‘gi' r lkk arbaj" (and I hope you'll forgive me for any mistakes in the transcription of the titles) and "Et paradis".
A good record, 10 tracks that will certainly not please prog enthusiasts but which in the mid-80s in the North European metal scene surely did not look out of place, quite the contrary.
