Exactly Ancora D'Oro, you’re right. It must be one of the few reviews in which I didn’t include it, perhaps misled by the fact that it's a new album, September 2008.

@NES: I would also like to know how the DeRango is calculated, just out of mathematical curiosity. For example, my review of Cosmic Vishnu on the homepage has a DeRango of MINUS 15!!!!! Maybe it's because of the few comments. CHAO!

Thank you all tosat! Certainly, the album is a bit monochord, but that’s precisely where its beauty lies, in my opinion, and that's why I prefer it even to the first self-titled one. Honestly, I also struggled to check the boxes of the De-generi: this stoner album has very little of it, PolkaTulk88 perhaps hit on another adjective that would fit well. Nevertheless, from my perspective, it had been a while since I heard such a captivating and dense album. Bye, Bei!

Bea recenZion, a task not at all easy in front of such a text. This is surely one of the most beautiful books I have ever read in my life, I am glad so many years have passed because I remember it little and it is one of the masterpieces that I will certainly read again. Or maybe I remember it very well? Or maybe I've never read it? Perhaps, instead, I have always known it, even before starting...

I too recently saw a great live performance by "Marko Paper & His Orchestra," but it seemed a bit less grind than their other shows, also because it seems to have come out of that underground that made it an emblem of old school HC. The progressive rhythms reminiscent of the early Genesis were good, but the choruses a bit less Sick Of It All might be suffering from the stress of the world tour these musicians are undergoing. While stage-diving is guaranteed, it didn’t manage to create that psychedelic and almost doom-like atmosphere that distinguishes it, which is why I’m forced to give it a 1, much to my regret... because in reality I would style it with a combine harvester.

@PSYCROPTIC: AT THE GATES and DISMEMBERIZER (that’s what they were called in the beginning, right?): I completely agree!

@GENOO: musically speaking... have you stopped eating sandwiches with porchetta? I mean, really? Why? Is it possible? Chao!

Guys, really: THANK YOU ALL! Since I think long reviews are only suitable in certain cases (historic albums that have already been reviewed, particularly influential novels), I prefer to write in ZOT when I’m suggesting semi-unknown records. And since the album is convincing and I listened to it during an "alcoholically cover-istic" moment...
