Let's not forget this, or we might as well go back to running on all fours." I disagree; there are many animal species that can distinguish between good and evil. Moreover, I would associate the pejorative term "beasts" more with delinquent men who are aware of their actions than with an animal driven by instinct or rational ferocity. We are animals too; we distinguish ourselves in many perhaps "better" ways, but we are the only species that does not adapt to its environment, but rather smothers it and bends it to its will. This can be a righteous and ingenious thing, but when taken too far, over time, I wouldn't know...
