I really don't understand and don't share your statement from post 94, FALLEN; to me, it's chilling. Metaphorically or not, why hit or "make them suffer," as you later specify, to understand a person? At this point, I could tell you: listen to what a poor homeless person says, then make them comfortable and give them a place to live and see if they behave consistently with what they professed before. Is that a transliteration that can hold?

Beautiful. An extremely simple and direct book that candidly describes the friendship between two boys. I read it a long time ago, and I remember the "taste" it leaves you with at the end.

FALLEN: what would be the analysis of the perfect idea? Because in this abortion of a review, I read a mix of clichés and stock phrases, and I DO NOT see the analysis of a work or reasoning about it. DeLorenzo is surely writing these things to provoke, but honestly, it just makes me feel pity. Tossing out such broad, complex topics and dissecting them with 2 sentences from kindergarten while expecting everyone to comment based on their own beliefs about a work leaves a bit to be desired, as I would be curious to know how many have read the entire book before voting.

I will gladly listen to it. I really like "Reise, Reise," but also the other albums I’ve heard are enjoyable. And then it’s a genre that sung in German is stunning!
