Anathema We're Here Because We're Here

Bea bea, I would dare to say a strabea review. Anathema... I used to listen to them back in the days of "The Silent Enigma" and "Pentecost III," and even though they weren't among my favorite bands of the genre, I liked them. Their works from the new millennium are nice but nothing more.

Great review. Nice album, but it has never really grabbed me that much. I really like "The Bigger Killer In American History," the first "Hear It," and even that kitschy "Raise Your Voice," but it all feels a bit 'polished.' In my opinion, Bad Religion peak with the stunning "Against The Grain," even better than "Surfer" and "How Could Hell Be Any Worse?"

But you know I listened to it? The Faces Eruption also have some nice snippets, while for the others... I mean, I'm not a plumber, but the singer's voice seems like it could use a spritz of a spritz with caustic soda...

With all due respect for the memories, the radio that broadcasted them, the summer, the girls, everything you want, but this stuff has always been external to my concept of music. If we look at the lyrics, then, compared to Ligabue, he is a poet.
Roberto Giacobbo 2012: la fine del mondo?

This morning I went grocery shopping and saw Giacobbo's latest book. The topic is so original; I don’t think Giacobbo has ever talked about it. The title is "I Templari"... well, I thought, at least there’s no question mark like many pointed out in the reviewed book here. So I picked up "I Templari," lifted it up, and saw that just below there was a nice subtitle: "Dov'è il tesoro?". I had little money and was torn between buying the book or the latest greatest hits by Emanuele Filiberto with his all-time biggest successes. Then I hit reverse with the cart, went back, and loaded up on another case of Dreher, because in a month there are the World Cup games, and as they say around here, “Cior na cassa de bira in pi no se sbaia mai.”

@PANAPP: but why the question mark? I mean, it's well known by now that Atlantis is under Bergamo. You're great. Anyway, as I wrote in the previous post, at this point, instead of demolishing historical arguments and turning them into circus animals, urban legends are welcome – at least they are light topics that everyone can fantasize about. Paul is dead? Is it true that Elvis Presley is still alive, overweight, has lost all his hair, walks around in outrageous robes and golden jewelry, and goes by the name of Otelma?
