Somewhere between beautiful and cute, I really liked "Empty Causes," I remember, but I might prefer "Stranger Than Fiction." Anyway, if I have to pick something from BR, I always go for the pre-'90s stuff first.

But... "The Exorcist" yesterday, "Trainspotting" and "A Clockwork Orange" tonight... Sanremo is cool like this; with this counterprogramming I'm even reassessing this disgraceful circus, come on.

I don't remember how long ago I saw it, but it was definitely after the "CLUU period," so I liked it, but just like other horror films. Last night I didn't know they were airing it. Great review, but the rating is 4.9 because thanks to you I discovered that there's Sanremo again this year.

-- a bit of anger with terms like "fuck" --. Know that this time you get a pass, but in the future the De-Staff will immediately censor the dissemination of these satanic exoteric practices.

"Seen it. Nice little film, great Julianne Moore, let’s say 3.5 stars. I would have expected (actually, let’s not kid ourselves: I didn’t expect it and it wasn’t there) something a bit more, a little bit of courage, of 'hardness.' Because this is NOT a film about Alzheimer’s; it’s a film about the life of a certain successful professor with a united and cheerful family, full of money, with a couple of houses, the best specialists, a huge intellectual cultural background, and an extraordinary life even professionally, to whom unfortunately early-onset Alzheimer's disease is diagnosed. By the way, alongside the (as already mentioned) brilliant performance of Moore and the good one by Baldwin, there’s a setting that I can't stand: the same damned beach house with obligatory checkered shirts, the microcosm of American 'situation comedy' that goes from the cute little ice cream shop to the tidy park, etc."

Well, I've talked to several people who have seen it; none have told me it was terrible, but none have said it was a great film either. Many of them summarized NES's comment for me. I'm not inspired, by the way, there are other movies in theaters to see right now. By the way: "American Sniper - Original title: American Sniper." Wow. Who did the translation?

I haven't read the review, but judging by the comments, I think it's worth a 6, just to balance it out with the bold preamble in MazzaFerrataNeiCoglioni-style.

Considering that given the theme of the film it’s easy to fall into the abyss of soap opera sentimentality (but adding that Julianne Moore is an actress I truly appreciate), this movie inspires me. Maybe I’ll catch it this week.

Dear Zzziiinnnggg magnificent OfMarga, the Surgical Recension has finally arrived! I completely agree with these reunion post-who-knows-how-many-years; almost all of them produce mediocre discs. Almost. I actually liked this album a lot, especially now (how long has it been? More or less 11000 hours). Also, while it's true that we miss the Arch-Beggars Amott, I find the new drummer to be quite a dynamo... anyway: I think we can agree that "Cadaver Pouch Conveyor System" is mmmmaraviJosa!!!
