As for luck, I always say that poker (specifically Texas Hold 'em) is the game with the highest percentage of luck after bingo, the way we play among friends; but if you raise the stakes to multi-billion tournaments, you'll notice that there are those 20-30 people who split 90% of the global prize pool, who make it to the final table of tournaments with 5000 participants 4 times out of 10... not just with lucky breaks. Then, the advertising that attracts those looking for easy wins is present in poker just like it is in scratch cards, sports betting, bingo, and all sorts of things, but I really enjoy playing poker with friends.
