CACCHIONE: I didn't mean to get into your musical tastes, of course not, it was a joke. Even though I think, wanting to draw a parallel between the two, that while De Gregori still manages to churn out decent music and lyrics after all these years, Vasco's downward spiral is relentless... okay, impeccable sounds and musicians, but damn, it's always the same notes, always the same words, albums that are a blatant copy-paste of historical proportions. Then again, it's true he was a myth for a certain generation, but damn it, what does he represent for me now????

I prefer Checco Zalone when he imitates Vasco!!!!......record from 0.001....unfortunately Vasco doesn't say anything to me anymore!!!!......@cacchione: I just gave a 4 to the review of Amore nel pomeriggio by De Gregori, but if you find something good like Il mondo che vorrei.........!?!?!?!

The rhetoric, alas, is elsewhere and in spades!!! I don't think we can discuss De Gregori, just as we can't question the quality of almost all his albums... In my opinion, "Amore nel pomeriggio" represents the peak of his otherwise very honest latest works... Wouldn't it be great to have more like that!!!

The review is a bit skimpy, but the title says it all... a milestone, the history of rock, there’s nothing like it!!!!... I saw Patti back in 1979, Bologna, stadium... power, charisma, rock nerve at full blast, then again, maybe it was just after "wave" came out, another unmissable album, which I never let go of.... since '79, the next release was in '88 "dream of life" then again in 1996 "gone again"... a character who has managed to maintain her identity while also renewing herself musically... in short, PATTI is strong!!!

I don’t mind Manfredi…. for God’s sake, let’s not invoke the great writers, but he’s pleasant company and enjoyable to read. The related movie was terrible!!!

I liked the review; it reminded me of the "glass spider tour" I saw in Florence... unforgettable, much like the album in question is very forgettable. For Bowie lovers like me, I believe it's the album that bridges the last decent productions of the early '80s to the dreariness of the last 15 years... a three for the album for the sympathy, but it would be a two... poor!!
