Ben Stiller Tropic Thunder

Well, if it's worse than dodgeball..... I'll pass. I haven't seen much of Ben Stiller, but I don't understand why he doesn't make me laugh. I only save There's Something About Mary!

great saga. in my opinion well written and crafted. should I be worried if I read it after turning 20? when I was in school, children's readings were Salgari and London. p.s. The Lord of the Rings after puberty!!!!

I haven't seen the movie, but the review is well done. There's just one thing I didn't understand: is this capitalist world where we are all just workers paid a fixed amount of money a good thing or a bad thing? In the first case, I prefer De Gregori's madmen...

Well, it seems to me that your judgment is more the result of an intolerance towards those who continue (not without reason, in my opinion) to celebrate the genius of Antonio De Curtis than a thorough analysis of his comedy. As for his comic genius, which the "sfascia" provides a quick snapshot of, I really don't think there's much to say: his extraordinary ability to play with words and simultaneously with body language may not elicit raucous laughter and bellyaches (at least not anymore), but they endure over time and have outlasted countless comedians who came after him and disappeared... There is also to say that our man produced an industrial quantity of films, where the mask is always the same: it's inevitable that in certain episodes everything shows a bit of wear... You must recognize, however, that for example the character of Villaggio himself (one of the great comedians of the '80s that you mention and with whom I agree, by the way) after the second or at most third episode of the Fantozzi saga lost all its charm and its "comic power," repeating the same gags over and over. Finally, it must be said that it may be true that Totò did pseudo-spicy comedy, but back then that was all that was allowed: I don't believe that this is qualitatively worse than a certain modern comedy that is based solely on continuous and heavy sexual innuendos...

Nice review!!! It's time, however, to set sail for new shores...
Roberto Saviano Gomorra. Viaggio nell'impero economico e nel sogno di dominio della camorra.

A work that hits you in the gut. Beyond the debate surrounding the character "Saviano," it is true that books like this leave (at least for me) a sense of inadequacy: not so much for lacking the courage or the skills of Saviano (which I do somewhat possess), but rather for never being able to fully grasp complex issues like this one. The only small "excuse" comes when you realize that those who should be more invested in it (e.g. institutions, as well as the media system) actually have no interest whatsoever.

dear filippo, don't get worked up... it seems to me that those who have made some criticisms have done so towards the band, and not so much towards the album. after all, I don't see why anyone would listen to the 14th album of a band that has been offering the same identical formula for 35 years. "they recycle themselves"... you say it yourself! that it might be a good product, meaning it has a good form, doesn’t change the potential judgment on the content by a hair...
