Dear Matteo, I'm sorry but I think you've misunderstood my point. I believe that both groups stand equally on the top step of the podium. The word quality should not be interpreted in quantitative terms (how much better they are, how much better they sound, etc.); quality refers to characteristics, peculiarities. The reason that motivated me for this comparison is solely to emphasize how this album is the most representative of this qualitative difference.

Here it is, that is, the sixth word, perhaps...

@Stefano90: I really didn't know that Larks' was also recorded live. I don't want to belittle "Red," it's just that it is often considered the best of the trilogy, while "Starless.." is not, so I wanted to give more emphasis to the latter (especially since it was reviewed on Debaser with a miserable three stars, and that's not good). Anyway, "Larks'" is arranged very differently from "Red." Thank you for the observation.

Excellent writing, Enbar, really. However, I want to tell you that your last two words leave me a bit disappointed, not so much because I disagree with your ideals but because I feel something stale, obsolete, like a burden that you should and we should leave behind. The principles of communism, but also of Christianity, are based exclusively on the relationships between men themselves and a transcendental subject. It is urgent to abandon this paradigm, to free ourselves from ideals and historical legacies. Instead, we should think about how to relate to the environment in a holistic sense; only then will the true situation arise in which relationships among men will reach true brotherhood, where everything will be shareable. And I believe in that.

What a lucky deal, two days in pole position :)

Hey Gaetá, you're more genuine than the frisse my grandfather used to make.

Some things I didn't know, which made for a pleasant and interesting read. If you allow me, however, considering Pasolini as Bolognese doesn't seem quite right to me.

I used to enjoy buying CDs by mail, I’ve spent quite a bit of money on them, and very well too. Now that I have two daughters (shit, I still have to pay for the last three months of school), I can't afford it anymore. So long live mp3s, praise be to peer to peer, long live the web. Amen!

Thank you. Quite an alluring indication, I know very little about Branduardi.
