True. Tony Martin is a singer with exceptional talents. I reiterate that the albums featuring him as a singer in BS are the best of the group.
Eric Clapton Slowhand

In fact, my favorite Clapton album is "From the Cradle," but I still stick to my opinion on that.. :-) BYE!

There are some samples (most likely sampled) on "Ain't nobody like my baby," but they are not orchestrations anyway. Why are you interested?
Eric Clapton Slowhand
Voto:
It is true that Eric fills his albums with covers and sometimes subpar tracks, but to say that he doesn’t know how to compose, in my opinion, is a stretch. This is a 5-star album for the freshness that all the tracks demonstrate. Listened to today, it sounds extremely modern. If we were to consider "461 Ocean Boulevard" or "No reason to cry," then it would start to make sense to launch some criticism. Many of Clapton's songs remain rather unremarkable, lacking decisiveness and impact; and for those of us who know Eric, it’s tough to swallow. However, in every one of his works, you can still find solid tracks. I don’t understand how Polka can assert that the solo works aren’t much. How can you not recognize the greatness of an album like "Pilgrim"?
B.B. King Blues On The Bayou
Voto:
B.B. has certainly written things of much greater substance, that's true. Well, at least each of us has our own tastes. Anyway, I'm really happy with the result achieved: if it's true that my review made you want to listen to the album, I couldn't ask for more. Bye!

POLKATULK88 you are right. Good point. Personally, I don't rate albums by taking a straight average of all the tracks. The rating usually reflects the number of songs that give you "something extra" compared to others. In this case, there are several nice pieces: hence, the 5. I realize this isn't a rigorous method, but this way I try to convey that it's an album that can offer emotions in more than one instance. Then add the passion for the artist and that's how the ratings inflate. Do you dislike the review for how it's written or because you disagree with the judgments? Bye!
Deep Purple Who Do We Think We Are
Voto:
Megaloman, if you look at the first ratings it is indeed so, but in the latest interventions, apart from one, the ratings are all (rightly) greater than or equal to 4! :-) It's a beautiful album, very different from the others by the way.
Deep Purple Burn
Voto:
Maci, I beg to differ. It's an album with a very bluesy soul, warm sounds, yet powerful at the same time. There are 8 tracks instead of 13 or 14; unlike what you find on many records, so there are few tracks but good ones. In fact, few but excellent. The arrangements seem very well thought out, there is little room given to improvisation, and this makes each piece a complete, precise, and defined work. Well, de gustibus.
Deep Purple The Book of Taliesyn

Great Peppe! However (I’m a bit embarrassed to say it) I don’t know the self-titled album. I will take care of it.

But why don't you like 'A200'?
