mmmm from the description I expected it to be a bit more trippy, and definitely more niche. Instead, it’s tremendously easy listening that I can’t get through to the end of the song without my maruuuns dropping. Unfortunately, when mentioning the Floyd, they always refer to the most easy-going discography, while I’m expecting the very first albums or Animals or The Wall.

The weakest aspect of the film is that it sticks to a template (hero, damsel in distress, and villains) that doesn’t quite suit Tarantino. The unpredictable becomes predictable, especially after years of feasting on Quentin and his protégé Guy Ritchie. It’s sterile Hollywood mannerism sprinkled with distinctly Tarantinian touches (KKK and the skull scene), which are the parts that work best and allow for a second, forced viewing. 3 out of 5.

If I'm not mistaken, I didn't really like them just like the Neurosis, as someone already pointed out. It seems to me that there's also the growl here (but who the hell invented that?) that messes everything up.

I listened to something from this time ago. If I'm not mistaken, it's the most Floydian of the bunch. Their biggest flaw remains the quality of the studio recordings, at least 2 notches inferior to Banco and Area for the time. I've seen more videos of their live performances, and they are truly exceptional.
