Rino Gaetano Mio Fratello E' Figlio Unico

Come on, the usual names... De André, Battiato, and why not throw in Guccini and De Gregori while we're at it?? Personally, I find Rino much more contemporary and "rock'n'roll" than the names you mentioned, not to mention De André, who I just couldn't dive into because his tone of voice puts me to sleep... I bet you can't stand Baustelle either... and please, don't mention Meneguzzi, come on... have a bit of decency!!

Grandissimo Geeno, Rino Gaetano also moves me and touches something deep inside: His languid and sometimes angry voice was ahead of its time, his lyrics speak of today much more than the Italian rubbish they keep feeding us. And then for someone like me, "naturally" grunge, he has certainly recognized himself as a kindred spirit. I prefer him to De Andrè or other much more renowned artists; his lyrics are fresh and still irreverent and sarcastic, or melancholic and poetic, or intelligently silly, or all these things together in a single song. Clearly, the fiction was crap for hot-blooded teenagers... To JohanneSulver I ask, what kind of person are you? In my opinion, you must be a bit narrow-minded; just know that Rino's lyrics are not as simple as you say. Often there’s a bitter sarcasm beneath that not everyone can grasp. And then I ask you again: if Gaetano was mediocre, who do you consider to have been or to be exceptional in the Italian scene???? Who knows?

sure, I’m 100% sure, go ahead and do the research. It seems clear to me that they don’t mind the money... nothing wrong with that, even the great Freddie joking but not too much used to say that his songs are throwaway, you listen to them and when you don’t like them anymore, you throw them away...

Staind Chapter V

This is their best record with harmonically excellent tracks. They are definitely not an innovative band or technically flawless, but this is truly a nice album...

In my opinion, the best album by Staind is the previous one, "Chapter V." Guys, give it a listen...

A bit of a flattering album that winks at the sounds of the time but, listened to today, is definitely valid... Santa Rabbia is the real mess... let's see now this Death Magnetic.
