I avoid repeating the usual phrases that are always said in every review of De André. I don't agree with the idea of essentiality; for me, the most essential are the early ones, just voice and guitar (or almost). I have to say, however, that the best pieces on this album are precisely the simplest ones, like: "Se ti tagliassero a pezzetti" and "Hotel Supramonte".
