"Sunny review for some psychedelic good stuff from Not Not Fun Records part 2/3"

Chapter 2: Sun Araw - Beach Head (2008)

Sun Araw is the side project of Cameron Stallone, leader of Magic Lantern.

In a general assessment, this production does not go beyond three stars, but if we consider the "originality" factor, the discussion changes. Among the three works (but also in a broader context) I have proposed, this is undoubtedly the most innovative, adding something truly special and sunny to the archives that (perhaps) wasn't there. Let me explain better. Here we're talking about drone ambient, but it’s not the usual eerie drone ambient to listen to in the dark. Go to any review of any Stephen O'Malley project, try to assimilate all the characteristics of the genre, and then remove all the dark adjectives, replacing them with a tropical setting. Hawaii. Yesss Hawaii. Beach Head will throw you directly into the midst of coconuts, palm trees, crystal-clear water, wind, and ass (CENSORSHIP). And don't tell me you don't need stuff like this right now.

Beach Head, a Tropical Drone album.

Haloooooaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
