Il Teatro Degli Orrori A Sangue Freddo

I appreciated the desire to vary their music a bit, but in this album I found some flaws that I struggled to find in the first one. They alternate high-level tracks with others that I consider lesser, without which it would definitely be a perfect "second album." I saw them live at Magnolia this summer, and despite the thousand problems of that evening (pouring rain, volumes kept a bit low, Capovilla's microphone only working sporadically), the new songs musically, though still somewhat rough, seemed good to me. The lyrics were really hard to hear… I won’t hide that, upon first listen, the lyrics seemed inferior to me; however, after listening to the album more carefully, I believe they are just different. In short, I expected another "Dell'impero delle tenebre," so initially, I scrunched my nose a bit. I do have one doubt: at the beginning of "Majakowskij," Pierpaolo says: "LE quattro," changing the entire meaning of the first verses. I checked my edition of Majakowskij, and "le" is not there… Anyway, I am sure that this album requires more listens than the first one… so I will do that too. Maybe I’ll revisit it… For now, it’s a 4.

:D Uhm, I don’t know them at all, but if both Sfascia and Kosmo say they're good, I trust them! I'm going to dig through the archives - Antmo :)
Devendra Banhart What Will We Be

Only I remember it for the opening or some ending of a review (maybe of Psycho, but I'm really not sure): "Because in folk rock there’s not just Devendra Banhart"? :)

What an extraordinary power this little disc has.. I don't know why, but I find it perfect for my train journeys. Heavy, fun, annoying, and out of this world, it sticks to the ears wonderfully.. and who wants to take it off anymore?

This, despite being yet another, I really liked! The part about Carmelo Bene and the musical description was beautiful. What can be said about the album? Essential and fundamental.
