Ivano Fossati Il Grande Mare Che Avremmo Traversato

I don't know the album, but back then Fonit had a top-notch graphic designer: this cover, that of "Lo Scemo e il Villaggio" by Delirium, that of "Searching for a Land" by New Trolls... I've never been able to find the name of the author of these little gems. Can anyone provide some clarification?
The Horrors Strange House

"Looking at them on the cover of 'Strange House,' their debut album, they really resemble the Addams Family, with a lot of face paint smeared on." You know, they remind me of an old photo of Deep Purple Mk 1 instead.

And I ended up here by clicking on "Random one"? Do I deserve to be called an idiot???

I don’t know who invented prog; however, I like to point out how "proto-prog" sometimes had almost punk-like attitudes (the immediacy of some tracks included here, but I'm also reminded of "Berkshire Poppies" - I hope that's spelled right - by Traffic, where the band mumbles the choruses and, in the background, indulges in burps at will).
Lucio Battisti Il Mio Canto Libero
Voto:
The review is hasty but enthusiastic. Battisti and his collaborators, in this album, perhaps get a bit carried away ("Vento nel Vento", for example), but there is so much beautiful material... prompted by a comment on another review on this site, today I listened to Mick Ronson's version of "Io vorrei..." (translated as "Music is Lethal"); well, in Battisti's hands the track remains unbeatable.

At times a bit syrupy, but so sincere...

Truly unsettling and innovative. A film that has set a precedent.

Oh yes, not just the same opinion, but also the same words of Cope. You even use the first person (as if you were one of those boarders from the 70s in England). On the other hand, Cope also has the habit of passing off his personal story as a universal one. All I know is that if this record were released today - perhaps under another name - someone might even consider it cutting-edge indie rock (and then people wonder why there's so much nostalgia around).

I can't help but think I've seen another movie. In the end, the Yankees win and the future looks bright? But did you see how the shabby, empty Berlin is captured in the final scenes? And then you reduce two well-rounded characters to mere caricatures with black-and-white morals: the underlying selfishness of the playwright doesn’t seem all that hidden to me, nor the fact that the protagonist’s conversion is based not on a political awakening, but on a mere erotic impulse. I don't know: maybe the film was meant to highlight the qualities of the Stasi and the GDR? Or was it supposed to have a sequel that reads "so many years later"?
