I really love the psychedelia and modal scales of "Dawn." A still very fresh album. As for the subsequent careers of Jackson and Davison, I recommend giving a listen to the Refugees, a kind of new Nice with Patrik Moraz in the role that once belonged to Emerson, and they have a self-titled album from 1974.

It may be my opinion, but I have always found that Germans (in general) don’t quite excel at quick and immediate humor. They alternate surprising moments with frankly over-the-top ones. In the end, however, they deliver.

Interesting this talk about Donovan's rock turn between the late 60s and early 70s. I remember that something similar happened with Mark Bolan when he transformed Tyrannosaurus Rex into T.Rex. I'll see about listening to this album.

I actually have to agree that it was one of the most interesting shows I've seen (strictly at night, on Canale 5 - not having Sky). Well acted and with a good study of the situations and characters, which is usually lacking in fiction. I noticed that it also avoided the usual protagonist-antagonist mechanism that all fiction follows pedantically. "Gioco di bimba," which, let's not forget, deals with sexual violence, was a perfect title.
