Synth, your review isn't badly written. I'm not voting for it just because I still don't know how much it connects to the reality of a group I adore and whose latest work I haven't listened to yet.
Anyway, welcome to a site filled with damned well-prepared perfectionists but also with crazies to tie up.
For me, good with a reservation. Bye.

I think I'm going to get this album with my eyes closed. Even though I still haven't understood a damn thing.

Thank you again for the interventions and especially for the generous appreciation ;D. At the FNAC in Milan, it must be said that the "alternative" offer is much broader compared to other large stores (ricordi/messaggerie/feltrinelli), there’s really no comparison. For me, it's very close to home and convenient; I listened to it there before I bought it. Then, fortunately, there are also other little shops that resist by specializing in specific genres, which are also destinations for periodic pilgrimages. It's one of the perks of living in this scorned city. Then, with downloads, you can obviously access anything from anywhere... and thank goodness for that. However, I still don't mind the little CD object in "flesh and bone". @MATACà... I have the same problem, sometimes I'd like to solve it by implanting new independent brain areas dedicated to listening along with the insertion of another indefinite even number of earphones.

Moustache, you are really good; I would pay to be able to write as well as you do, at least half as well. And indeed, I de-love you.

Useful and friendly as eye drops with Tabasco.

Thank you DOPESMOKER, I'll give the album some time to settle (I've only had it for a short while) and maybe I’ll have to concede your point. The impact for me, however, was significant. Perhaps also because you’ve likely listened to much more stuff in this genre than I have. Bye.

I understand. Critique should serve as a compass to give us an idea of what the hell we are about to listen to and where it comes from (which is never a bad thing to know). However, it should certainly not replace our judgment and personal reinterpretation, nor our unique sensitivity. At its core, "knowledge" is always an element (in all fields) that helps us to better appreciate the object of our investigation, and this is a valid discourse in the artistic realm as well. But of course, it is not enough to determine our appreciation or lack thereof for a work. Those who want to be alternative at all costs make others think, reinterpret, and listen in their place. Preconceptions and sterile intellectualism are always reprehensible.

It's true, Blow Up is the only one that takes certain things into account. I don't mind it; I find it great for getting oriented.
