THE REVIEW

It's been a while since I listened to a band that revives that sound which is both corrosive and melodic enough to make you tap your feet like in traditional metal. Every track shines with its own light, even though the hints of the old style are sprinkled throughout the entire album.

Echoes of bands like Death Angel and especially Voivod resonate on this great album. Maybe they aren't an original band, but it is damn well played, a breath of fresh air for a genre that somehow lived in historic bands.

THE FEELING THAT THIS ALBUM WILL BE A GEM FOR A FEW FANS IS A SHAME but if you have some time, give it a listen and you won't regret it.

Summary by Bot

Vektor's Black Future successfully revives a corrosive and melodic thrash metal sound reminiscent of classic bands like Death Angel and Voivod. Every track stands out individually while maintaining a unified old-school vibe. Although not fully original, the album is impressive and refreshing within the genre. It deserves more recognition beyond a niche fanbase and is highly recommended for metal enthusiasts.

A must-have album at any cost, Black Future; deadly and complex, it is one of the best modern Thrash Metal albums.

The vocals of singer-guitarist David DiSanto are unpolished and high-pitched, reminding me a lot of Chuck Schuldiner’s vocals.
