Ok LAROCK, your well-framed response is completely understandable. I think that regardless of the type of entertainment each person prefers, it is superficial to label this film as crap just because it doesn't satisfy intellectual pleasures but only "visual" or more superficially sensory ones. You can't say something is garbage just because it's detached from our tastes. That would indeed be superficial.

So LAROCK, let's say that one should not have a narrow, under-diversified, and closed-minded concept of entertainment and fun. In short, there are moments when I prefer to read a good book or listen to serious music, and others when I feel like going on roller coasters and experiencing crazy nonsense. The important thing is to give things the right weight and a correct and balanced placement in our personal value scale. This is great light-hearted entertainment. In my opinion, to have fun only with serious/intelligent or profound works, one must be a dreadfully boring human monolith.

Well... when I go running with music in my ears, I perform worse. I listen to that instead of what my body is saying and waste energy.

Thank you, Cleo. My biggest concern was the impact that three hours of 3D might have on a little one. I feared it could be exhausting or disturbing for such a young nervous system. I will also take your experience into account.

Cleo, I also have a 7-year-old child. I was unsure whether to bring him. Isn't it prohibited for minors under 13 years old throughout Europe?

I haven't seen the movie yet. I will watch it with the full awareness that it's a pure entertainment product, without any intellectual pretensions, pure escapism likely done very well. What's wrong with that? Cinema is also this. If I were to make a gastronomic comparison, I would say that I know too that dining at Sadler is the best, but now and then even a burger from McDonald's is not to be overlooked.

You make me want to listen to it more and more. In my opinion, the problem with Motorpsycho is a certain prolixity. They are indeed hyper-productive, and in such abundance, the quality can't always remain top-notch. It's a characteristic that can be observed even within their individual works. In all their albums, I find flashes of pure genius, extraordinary peaks, but also a lot that feels "already heard." Yet, those flashes ultimately forgive everything else. If only they had the gift of synthesis, they would be the perfect band.
