Inspired.
There is so much melancholy in this album.

I'll give my thoughts after the first listen. I really miss Matt Kwansiewski's voice, which, as I've already mentioned, perfectly matches the decentralized style of our group. It would have added so much to an album that, on the first listen (for now, since it's not immediately digestible), I like less than the previous one. The very strong jazz (core?) influence doesn't excite me. Even though the level is extremely high, we need more works like this. It definitely requires a lot of contemplation.

Of Primus. Remarkable.
It's a pity the original vocalist is missing.
Unspecified "mental health" issues.
His singing was perfect to give substance to these epileptic sound shards.

I watched it at the cinema with a girl. I still remember her figure stiffened and embarrassed by the ridiculousness of those well-known absurd situations, while I was feeling unwell from laughing. There were no further outings. Memorable.

Chewed over the first half nicely. Like a more tribal Kid A, like the Swans but a bit less abrasive.
There's a tremendous attention to the search for sound quality.
Okay, aesthetically well-defined references, but for the peninsula, so much, so much creative vein.
I'm starting to think it deserves the widespread credit.

Between Squid, Black Midi, and BCNR, I must say it's a rather exciting landscape.

Well, besides a few good laughs, I'm picking up a couple of tips.

Impossible not to move your ass, it’s the kind of stuff that you listen to and your head starts to feel afro. Really tasty record and page.

I've started to feel something. It seems very different from the previous works, a deep and quite layered album. There's a thought behind it, complex. Innovative, not absolutely (Radiohead, Swans, and I'm not sure who else are the unmistakable references) but certainly for the Italian scene. I think it's a good thing. Maybe it ends up that I also listen to the early stuff again, which had really made me feel like crap.
