Steven Spielberg Salvate il soldato Ryan

I agree with S4Doll. The plot has always seemed like nonsense to me, risking an entire team of men to save any soldier, oh well. Despite that, overall I don't despise it; on the contrary.

The cover is beautiful and the album is amazing. For me, it's a solid 5; the solo in Pigs is among Gilmour's best.

This review is much better than the one for Bauhaus, well done! Anyway, I've never been particularly enthusiastic about this album, especially since it comes after the dark trilogy and is completely different from those works. Regarding the '80s drums, the sound of those used here is quite poor; I recommend listening to Crises by Mike Oldfield from the same year ('83), it's a whole different thing.

You write well, but you have some ideas that might not be widely shared. From the next review on, please don't include the track-by-track anymore; many people have pointed it out to you.
Roger Waters Amused To Death

I've never listened to it, but it seems like a different piece of work.

O '78, it depends.
Genesis ....Calling All Stations...

Well, I didn't give the rating by comparing it to the works from the golden period, but considering it within the pop category (like all the other albums since '81).

To listen to this album, one must be free of prejudices, especially regarding Wilson. He has a beautiful voice and sings well and passionately on all the tracks. There are interesting aspects to note, such as the atmospheres of the title track, "Alien Afternoon," and "Uncertain Weather," or the drumming in "The Dividing Line," and ultimately, I don't think it's inferior to the previous "We Can't Dance."

I totally agree that there is more originality in Amused To Death, but I think I prefer The Pros And Cons a bit more precisely because it feels almost like one with some atmospheres from The Wall and The Final Cut. I don’t mind the repetitions, if you can call them that. Anyway, this is just my personal opinion, so I understand that some might prefer Radio K.A.O.S., for example.

For me, it's also the best from Going For The One; my favorite is In The Presence Of. 3.5.
