Perhaps my absolute favorite by Soundgarden. I've even always preferred it (by a hair) to 'Superunknown'. The wall of acid distortions and the slow-motion patterns of 'Ugly Truth', the infernal 'Gun'... the beastly 'I Awake'... the psychedelia of 'Hands All Over'... alongside the first two by Jane's, one of the albums that changed my existence between the late '80s and the dawn of the '90s.
