Mastodon Leviathan

Mmm, one of those bands that just never appealed to me. Good, yes, for sure. Not my cup of tea, probably.
The Rolling Stones Exile On Main St.
Voto:
One of the coolest albums of the 70s and not just that, and at the same time the last great masterpiece from the Stones, who, to be honest, could have even split up after this amazing record, in my humble opinion.
David Bowie Never Let Me Down
Voto:
No, 5 stars for this, no. Ugly, really ugly. Bowie will only recombine something decent with Outside, in 1995. If we give 5 to this, how the hell do we rate Hunky Dory? The Bowie after the Berlin period is dead. I can understand Scary Monsters, but here we are objectively in the shit. Then, oh, for heaven's sake... de gustibus.
Soul Asylum Let Your Dim Light Shine
Voto:
My God. I bought it back then. Flabby but really bad. In my opinion, their best album remains Hang Time, perhaps the only one by Pirner & co. that is truly noteworthy, even if the Husker Du influences sometimes verge on plagiarism. God, how much I hated Runaway Train :) They played it on MTV (which back then, you could still watch if you had a satellite dish on the roof) twice every hour.
Manowar The Lord Of Steel
Voto:
The most unintentionally ridiculous band in the history of Ruuuuock. In the name of Odin, I would shoot their fans.
The Offspring Days Go By
Voto:
Rece good. I listened to them for a while back in the Smash days, which was a nice little record. After a couple of months, forgotten.
Wipers Alien Boy
Voto:
Nice. I have it in the version together with Is This Real.

Another unknown record :) 4 to the album. As I mentioned before, the best of the Zeppelin for me lies in "Led Zeppelin III" and "Physical Graffiti". Then, de gustibus.
The Flaming Lips + Verdena Live @ Grugliasco, 11.07.12

Impeccable reception. The Flaming Lips, damn, I’ve never had the chance to see them live. My fault. Verdena... let’s just say no more :)
Cat Power Myra Lee
Voto:
Very, very beautiful review for a truly stunning album, it deserves a 4.5 all the way. This was the Cat Power that resonates the most with me. Sick, off-key nursery rhymes, swollen with discomfort and disillusionment... they seem to move forward almost on inertia. Her masterpiece, in my opinion, will come with the next, breathtaking "What Would The Community Think?", an album that might be among my all-time favorites.
