Giovanna Martini Diretta Stadio... Ed E' Subito Goal

I didn't understand where the brilliance of it all would be. They don’t have the broadcasting rights and SO they are forced not to air images from the stadium, just like last year when "Quelli che il calcio..." couldn't do it because RAI didn't have the rights. It's not called "masterful intuition," it's called "making a virtue out of necessity" (virtue, then...).
Alan Moore, Brian Bolland & John Higgins Batman: The Killing Joke

Enormous comic, capital, essential. Batman is also my favorite superhero, and this adventure, although not my favorite, comes close to narrative perfection (the graphics, on the other hand, don't particularly appeal to me, but that's just a matter of taste).

Honorable review, more than honorable album from an excellent singer who, as you mention in the review, didn’t have the time to leave an indelible mark on the history of Italian music (as he might have been able to do), but left exceptional testimonies of talent. The way he died was simply terrible; I remember it as if it were today.
Subsonica Nel Vuoto Per Mano
Voto:
Subsonica have always been a solid band: melodically they are progressing, although the lyrics perhaps a bit less so (the early albums were exceptional, no doubt about it). This best-of could have worked well right now if it included all the necessary songs to get to know them: if you tell me "Colpo di pistola" is missing, I understand that a lot of great stuff is absent.

Bluvertigo MTV Storytellers
Voto:
Bluvertigo have always been judged poorly: either musically poor, or snobbish, or clones of Depeche Mode, or with a thousand other epithets. I don't know, I think they are an extremely interesting band, I'm proud to love their music, and I'm happy that they reunited. The live performance is very good, and Morgan on "X Factor" was sufficiently despotic and arrogant, but honest.

Total horror and perpetual disdain for this being (?) that came out of Mario De Filippi's monster factory, and solidarity for your friend.
Prozac+ The Best Platinum Collection
Voto:
Well-made and convincing review. As for Prozac+, I agree that when they first came out, they had innovative ideas that were later stifled by the major label, and it wouldn't be bad to hear them again. I haven't listened to the best yet, but I know roughly half of their songs and I don't find them at all gratuitous or commercial.
Il Genio Pop Porno

But no, I don’t want to compare them musically to anyone: their image is that of him as a monster and/or nerd + her as a lolita-esque nymphet with a thin voice, that’s it. These guys have DRAWN from a bit of all the '60s from around the world, and then they present it back to us with commendable, but not exceptional, solutions.

As always, I quote psychopompe. Moreover, "Drive In" (which I remember being a detestable creation of the detestable Ricci) stunted my growth when, in one episode, Greggio and, if I’m not mistaken, Beruschi entered the stomach of a cat, finding enormous webs and gigantic pieces of cat food: it shocked me like never before.
