LA RECENSIONE

The Subsonica are certainly among the most outstanding bands of recent years in Italy. To celebrate their 10 years of activity, Samuel and company have released their first Official Greatest Hits, "Nel Vuoto per mano".

The album doesn't add much to the Subsonica's production, except for the only unreleased track, "Il Vento" (which seems to be having some success), which appears to perfectly capture the group's sound, that electronic edge which dominated their early albums, and the touch of rock that has gradually taken hold in the productions of the Turin group.

As for the selection of tracks, they drew heavily from all the various albums (except for the last one, from which only one track is present). It starts with "Tutti i miei sbagli", presented here in the acoustic version found on "Terrestre Live ed altre disfunzioni", and continues with all the most representative tracks of the group, even though some tracks that are cornerstones of their discography are missing, "Colpo di Pistola" above all. A Greatest Hits that flows quickly, offering us all aspects of the group.

Recommended both to fans and those who want to approach the world of Subsonica.
