Posts 25-26 have already said it all. Timoria = Pedrini, 95% songwriter and music composer. Renga has a great voice but ZERO creativity. At this point, I prefer creativity and intelligence, don't you think... Omar Pedrini has always been UNDERestimated, while Renga has always been OVERestimated. Never judge by appearances... in both cases, when I listen to them, I long for the old days :-|

Primiballi, I happened to attend Vasco's concert at the Heineken Jammin festival in Venice, where there were also some great Marlene Kuntz who, by the way, skillfully performed a cover of PFM and one of the Beatles... (but that's another story). The immediate impression was excellent, a band deserving a 10 with honors, truly leaving you speechless with the precision and the "punch" of certain tracks. The setlist was fabulous, as you mentioned, with an awesome rock medley and historic pieces... "la noia" was SPECTACULAR, but there are many others... I would invite anyone to go WITHOUT PREJUDICE to listen to a Vasco concert, not so much for him (who is known to be past his prime...) but for the atmosphere he manages to create and for the sound of a truly stellar band. See you soon.

Beautiful, well done! For a moment, I also remembered the day I heard the news of his death on the radio, an immense sadness... I've never associated Nirvana with technique (mmm... that would be a bit absurd, right??..) but with the burst of life they brought to the music scene... sometimes to relax I watch the DVD Unplugged in New York... and it’s always beautiful.
