Nice tip, I'll gladly take note of it. Thank you.

I've heard good things about this album from several people, and I really wanted to get my hands on it. As soon as I have it, I'll also give my rating.

5 to this Scorpions album? It seems exaggerated to me, they had already expressed their best.

I listened to it after the previous review here on DeB. An album rated 3.5. Quite good.

Since we're at it, tell me who holds this fake :) I take back my greeting.

I'll note them down, in the meantime welcome back.

I met him through "Ask The Dust" and was struck by it. This book is no less, in general Fante deserves to be read. A round of applause to the reviewer (which is double, being a debutante) and a greeting. Welcome to Debaser.

You can think whatever you want about the left, but allow me a second: what the hell do they have to do with this record? What the hell do certain clichés, Almirante, and all that initial nonsense with the CCCP have to do with it? What do I care if Ferretti was involved with Lotta Continua? When I listen to a record, I try to think about the music (something you threw in there, and you also made some inaccuracies, because one thing is the New Wave of Joy Division and another is the music of D.A.F. No one is discussing the post-punk influences here; instead, you’re told you’re citing the wrong bands), and also, if there are any, about the lyrics. As far as I'm concerned, Ferretti is an intellectual (a category that has often been lacking and is still missing in Italy), and so his judgments are broad-ranging and not necessarily (thankfully) tied to a political side.

@Taxirider, stop for a second. If you want to talk politics, go elsewhere. Here we're talking about music. The political aspect in CCCP matters little to nothing. They’re not the 99 Posse, let's not kid ourselves. It’s not sterile revisionism of Modena City Ramblers (and singing "Bella Ciao" isn’t revisionism, I’m referring to much other music). And trust me, nobody wants to set a precedent, there are more than 20,000 reviews. If I wanted to set a precedent, I would go elsewhere. You create violence when you try to be that person who must quote from outside the "official culture" to prove that you didn't grow up in the "left hegemony", bringing up the usual awful models (they're so disgusting that many feel ashamed of them). Stop with this stuff that has worn us out. You are obsessed with politics and ideology, you put it everywhere and expect to push it here too because the album cover says CCCP. The lyrics of Ferretti have a reflection that impacts the society of his time and reaches us today because we have not been able to grasp his ideas, and you know why? Because discussions always fell back on those four damn letters! Because they would say: "Ferretti? Great, but no one listened to CCCP. You know, with that name..." and maybe someone tried to explain that they didn’t matter at all, but their positions prevailed. Can’t you really separate the two dimensions? It doesn’t take much, you don’t need to have lived through the 80s in a big way. You just need to have some common sense.
