Well, the technique that Eddie showcased was truly innovative... we must contextualize everything; in 1978, Van Halen breathed new life into the use of the guitar. Regardless of whether it was the first tapping or not, I believe there can be little doubt about the boy's talent!! The fact that the band as a whole didn't present anything alternative is another story...

I discovered the album thanks to this review, I owe you one because it’s truly a remarkable listen... not a full 5 but a solid 4, maybe even 4 and a half works too!! A facet of Alice that will never come out again...

Well, there’s no doubt that it’s one of his most representative and famous albums... of course, this doesn’t always mean it’s the best (in my opinion, those from the '70s are on another planet), but it remains a good, indeed excellent album...
