Heaven & Hell The Devil You Know

curiosity...how does butler sound on this record? back in the golden days (which for me remain '70-'76) he was an extraordinary talent who brought an extra edge!
The Who It's Hard

I think you did well too. I remember reading the other negative review on it's hard (with a title like that...) I don't know the album and I won't comment, but I don't agree when you say that in the studio one drummer is worth as much as another... I really don't understand technical matters, but Moon had a very unique style...

and you deserve a nice 4.5

a character too full of himself, I just can't stand it unfortunately! However, the review is quite good.
Marilyn Manson Holy Wood (In The Shadow Of The Valley Of Death)
Voto:
excellent review that I agree with in many points; at first I was scared by the length, but you handled it excellently... the album piques my curiosity, but 19 songs really seem like too many...
America Homecoming

4.5...well done!!

I don't own any albums by America, just a great best of called America's Greatest Hits/History, from '75... and I've always enjoyed listening to it, an album that's not too demanding with simple melodies that are often sweet... recommended for newcomers to the band like me!
Marilyn Manson Eat Me, Drink Me

Yes, you’re probably right, I’m a novice when it comes to Manson in the sense that I’ve never listened to one of his albums with the lyrics in hand, etc... I haven’t picked up on many nuances that, as you say, are important... However, I believe that talking more about the context and the references rather than the album itself is symptomatic of a certain lack of depth in the artist, whom I respect but don’t particularly admire (but here we get into personal opinions).

and your latest reviews on this topic confirm it... if even for a fan the music takes a "backseat" the impact of the character is seriously low... album as mentioned deserves a 3.5, I'll average it out.

this is really a good album, although the reverend should understand that it's not the length that makes an album great... I remember generally lengthy works by Manson, and in fact this one doesn't even go much over the 50-minute mark... for me a well-deserved 3.5 for the album! the review is very good, but you delve too much into the part about the quotes and too little into the musical aspect; probably there's not much to say about his music (except for rare exceptions).
