Beautiful. Very heartfelt. Lately, it seems to me that several of us are going through a rather dark time...

I am particularly attached to the prog style of the '70s when it comes to Phil, as I often heard him break free from a certain looming mannerism with In Cahoots... Even though after all these years of activity, it's normal for innovation to eventually run dry... It has nonetheless been replaced by some quite respectable jazz-rock. If you tell me that the legendary Frank had already explored certain things, I certainly wouldn't be surprised :D I take as a point of reference a movement that I feel particularly "mine," but I will never question the value of one of the greatest precursors of modern times (artistically speaking), our Franco indeed.

@Ardalo: It may be, but there are times when one's safety takes a back seat.. In those cases, one can only hope that the aforementioned "moments" last for a short time ;)

Well you know, as for the solos, I always hear the touch of Phil Miller (guitars), the skill of Dave Stewart (keyboards), the imagination of Jimmy Hastings (brass)... But how could it be otherwise? All I need to do is paint the outside of my house gray and pink and then I'm good to go hahaha! Anyway, the record is out there...

@Opel: Alright, I’ll add you to the private messages list :D If only Mediafire would cooperate... @Supersoul: You’re absolutely right! XD

Thank you, Terry, for the sweet words :) and thanks to the others who came for the compliments! I admit that this album falls into the "Very Hard" category to find online, so I expect a flood of private messages for everyone tonight :p @Supersoul: This second album delves even deeper into the heart of the Canterbury Sound, blending it with the energy characteristic of recent Japanese fusion bands. It is a masterpiece in its genre, taking the lessons from English masters and transforming them into something original and extremely enjoyable. I'm not saying that it has to be liked by everyone, of course, but it is an excellent album with many strengths, where boredom and impersonality really don't find any space (at least according to my ear; everyone has their own criteria... although I admit that giving less than 4 to this Prayer would be hard to understand...). Canterbury-Zappa is an association I would never have used, but Hatfield-Synergetic Nuts, yes, and knowing the genius and madness of both formations, to talk about boredom in relation to their names almost assumes the value of an oxymoron... (not that Zappa wasn't a genius, but that's relatively unrelated here...)

Thanks everyone! @Macaco: I appreciate your kindness (widely returned). I must say that the review, like all of them, hides some autobiographical notes regarding situations I've recently encountered. In this case, I described exactly what happened. To avoid feeling bad due to certain events, I forced myself to become cold, withdrawing, in order to better detach myself from what troubled me. Needless to say, I became a victim of my own stratagem and couldn't bring myself to relax, as if I was afraid that pain was waiting for me, hidden around the nearest corner. The music I love, as always, helped me regain confidence, both in myself and in others, brightening me up in the blink of an eye… hence my writing. I hope that blending personal experiences with musical concepts doesn't come across as too misleading or out of place, because honestly, I'm not very drawn to the idea of going back to writing in a purely descriptive manner like I initially did… ;)

@Bob: Yeah... Until today it seems to me that only Starblazer had dared so much :)

Hell, you probably won't believe it, but yesterday afternoon, during an apocalyptic storm, I did the same thing, albeit in my own way. I took the car and, after running some errands, parked near a forest and ventured in, mp3 in my pocket and water everywhere, under the clouds that, illuminated by lightning, painted the sky purple...
