2 Times Terror Equals One Sudden Death

By the way, now that I think about it, OOMPH! are still lacking reviews; a "seminal" band (in every sense...) like them deserves at least a couple.

I sincerely hope that the music of 2020 is better than these guys; they sound like a crude, flabby, and overly commercial version of the early OOMPH!

'I downloaded this album solely and exclusively for Tim Owens, but it ended up in the trash after a couple of listens: monotonous, lacking ideas, lacking punch, The Ripper a distant relative of the one by Judas Priest, but certainly the context doesn't help.'

I don't know, sometimes I feel the urge to throw down a few lines spouting nonsense about, for example, "The Number Of The Beast" or "Nevermind," like I did for too long, just to see the effect it has... I would definitely get more feedback and attention than if I were trying hard to provide a useful and personal contribution to the completeness of the site. Shameful review, the album is a masterpiece, if only for "Metropolis" and "Surrounded."
Elton John Too Low for Zero
Voto:
A more than good album, even if for me it has something less compared to "The Fox" and "Jump Up!", maybe because there's that mess of "Crystal" in the middle which lowers the overall quality. The forgotten gems in this case are "One More Arrow" and "Saint"; "I'm Still Standing" is nice even if in the long run maybe a bit silly. Everything else is good. PS: someone should review "The Union," it's a great album. I've been struggling for at least two months trying to write something about it but unfortunately I lack inspiration :-(

this album is nothing special: there's "Sartorial Eloquence," which is a masterpiece, a few good tracks like "Little Jeanie" and "Take Me Back," the rest is sheer craftsmanship, all the ones that followed up to "Too Low For Zero," including "Jump Up!", are clearly superior.
