Alright, I talk nonsense, I flip the script... yeah, I'm really a fool for not understanding the greatness of an artist without whom we might not even have Rihanna, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake today, without whom pop might still be something serious... but after all, who am I to criticize the Messiah long awaited by multinationals and record labels to sell billions of copies to an easily placated crowd? Greetings & kisses to all, I'm off to dance happily and carefree to the sweet notes of Thriller, then I’ll listen to Heal The World and get emotional and build a little altar to the god Jacko, but for now… Dangerous - Michael Jackson - Recensione di Vic Sorriso

Michael Jackson is and will remain the greatest artist of all time, Michael Jackson is and will be immortal... no, excuse me, but shame on you, do you realize the colossal bullshit you just said? Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Mozart, Chopin... no, all garbage, all their insignificant legacy fades away in front of that of the legendary King Of Pop, the man who lived in an amusement park and never managed to transition from childhood to adulthood, who "loved" children like Jesus (his own words...). I BOW DOWN TOO, SURE, BUT NOT IN THAT PLACE OF MEDIATIC VULGATE AND MARKETING.

The sales data, the number of fans... all of this is magnificent, even the Backstreet Boys and Tokio Hotel have a lot of fun and sell a ton of records, and if we really want to widen our scope, in the 1930s Mein Kampf definitely sold quite a few copies, and a lot of people must have believed what was written in those pages; it may seem like a completely out-of-this-world comparison, but think about it for a moment: demagoguery, populism, a visual imaginary crafted to seduce the masses... doesn’t it remind you of something?

Heal The World, sure, it's a great song, a beautiful text especially; if it had been written by a child of seven, it would have come across as much more sincere. Then, I’m not disputing the fact that Jacko did some good; the question is: was he the only one to do it, or are there other people doing it, perhaps without much publicity? And then, was Michael Jackson murdered? By whom? And how? Please, it’s already a miracle that he made it to fifty; let me remind you that this man was more toxic than Kurt Cobain and Jimi Hendrix combined, he was on an inhuman amount of drugs, antidepressants, medicine, and various crap; it was clear that his fate was sealed. A ticking bomb that could have exploded at any moment. POINT.

He is the man I admire the most in the world, and it will always be so. His name, Michael, actually means "like a god, similar to God." Because of the messages he has given and the actions he has taken, I consider him a role model. ... yes, certainly, Mother Teresa of Calcutta was a real failure in comparison, right? Oh, right, but she didn’t know how to dance the mùnuolchin or whatever the hell it’s called; and then what kind of messages could this eccentric billionare, a bit (a lot) off, have given? Don’t stop until you’ve had enough? All I’m saying is that they don’t care about us at all? Or are you referring to all those humanitarian platitudes with a messianic flavor that fill this puppet’s career, passed off as a prophet? No ifs and buts, this is showbiz garbage designed to exploit people's gullibility, not protest songs; those are entirely different, written by De Andrè, Celentano, Guccini, De Gregori, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen... really, idolizing this man is far worse than believing in Santa Claus and the Befana.

Just because it's printed, it doesn't mean it's gospel, sure, that's fine, but is it gospel to believe in the good faith of a puppet controlled by record labels and forced COERCIVELY to enter the world of showbiz? Despite the fact that MJ, although he was the DOWNFALL OF POP (the whole culture of appearance, the pharaonic videos, the hyper-productions, the self-celebrations, the messianic messages of "let's all feel good," all stuff invented by him, or rather, FOR HIM) makes me feel a bit of sympathy and is certainly less detestable than people like Madonna or U2. Let's be clear, before him in pop there were ARTISTS like Elton John or ABBA who, aside from being worth a billion times more than Michael Jackson musically, are indeed ARTISTS, people who did serious work and not COERCED work, and who succeeded by COMPOSING and WRITING all their own music. Now it’s past midnight, I’m tired, and I'm going to bed; if you want to talk about it again, we’ll see each other tomorrow :-)

my dear lunar witch, it’s not a matter of Novella 2000, Eva 3000, or Di Più, these are facts, established, documented. :-)

1-What does Britney Spears have to do with Michael Jackson? Simple, Britney Spears is one of the many daughters (artistically and culturally speaking) of WackoJacko. 2-What are the effects on her person? Well, I wouldn’t know, maybe whitening your skin isn’t such a strange thing after all; throwing your child out of a hotel window (whose mother is that? I have no idea...) is ABSOLUTELY NORMAL, just like being prosecuted for pedophilia or alleged pedophilia, who hasn’t been through that?

I invite all Michael Jackson fans to consider the inescapable and undeniable fact that their idol did not enter the world of music out of spontaneous vocation, because he had a fire burning inside him and felt in some way he had to express it by becoming a musician. Good old Jacko was FORCED by a father with delusions of grandeur into the dazzling world of showbiz from a very young age (just like an ordinary Britney Spears), he had no choice, and for me, music remains an art, something that comes from within, not from external pressures. As far as I’m concerned, a career born in such a D-E-V-I-A-T-E-D way cannot yield anything, absolutely nothing good, and indeed the results were evident, on the person of Michael Jackson himself even before reflecting on his "music," which people may like or not.

Regarding Price's protégées, I remember once catching the video for "Mia Bocca" (the title says it all) on an MTV hitlist, sung by this Jill Jones. Wow, what a stunning video, and what a song: it literally left me speechless and pleasantly dazed.
