Dream Theater can be summed up like this: all technique (but to Portnoy, Petrucci, and Myung or whatever the hell his name is, I could find people who would kick their asses, zero compositional depth (except for I&W, which is quite innovative). And the fans of Dream Theater can be summed up like this: "We understand everything about life, we listen to DT!", "DT kicks Frank Zappa's ass because they have songs that are 9 minutes long" and finally the classic "Who the hell is Keith Moon? Mike Portnoy is the greatest rock drummer in history, YEAAAAAAA he has three bass drums!".
