Great review, first of all: complete, accurate, well written... well done! As for the album, I've recently entered the dreamlike ambient world of Eno and honestly, I wouldn't want to leave it. It's definitely a type of music unlike any other; if you don't understand it, if you don't embrace its philosophy, then it offers you absolutely nothing, not even by chance. On the other hand, if you approach how to listen to these pieces (because fundamentally this type of music deserves a special approach, "mindfully distracted") then it can give you EVERYTHING.

@ SPINKLER: the absurd thing is that I didn't make that phrase up, I actually heard it on Porta a Porta, in one of the many absurd celebratory episodes featuring this idiot... "Marco Carta has become a symbol of rebellion for thousands of kids." I was literally shocked, it was too surreal, the stupidest thing I've ever heard, and from there I got the idea to start this little review :)

a great album, the last good thing done by U2 after Passengers.... until No Line. I appreciated the idea in the review but it feels too much like a receipt....

Unbelievable, the album doesn't even reach a 3 average... I'm at a loss for words. Do you only use your ears to let things piss inside them? An extraordinarily accurate review, well written and even better explained. I liked that you focused a good part of the theme on the title track since it's actually the centerpiece of the entire album (at least conceptually).

Great album, although not an absolute masterpiece as many claim. The review is a bit too sparse for an album like this with so much content. You just blended together a few concepts without even delving into one. In short, a kind of vague summary, but overall written quite well. I give it a 2, try to do a bit more next time! :-)
