Dr. Adder, you too, in your own way, pursue the aesthetics of the lesser. Well done! I don't know them.

Excellent as always, Mien. Your consistency and attention to music, especially the less well-known to the general public, are a pleasure for me (as a reader) and an example (as a reviewer). Bye!

Dearest Muito, excellent review for a genre that I usually don't frequent but certainly seems interesting. Your writing is beautiful and evocative, as well as rich in many contextual details that, although seemingly superfluous, are actually the "center" of the matter and define the interpreter (the stray dogs, hippie parents, east as the new west). I only disagree with the aesthetic judgment about the lady on the cover (she doesn't say much to me), but on such matters, gentlemen should not pass judgment. Yours cordially, Il_Paolo

Thank you, Francescobus. I also read your reviews with interest: you have a genuine passion for music! We need people like you.

I only just noticed that – inadvertently – I ended up talking about Judas Priest in a discussion that was also dedicated to betrayal. What hermeneutic circles and what references, guys!

Green, I’m glad to see you posted up here, having read your comments on two reviews in a group that I really like, when I'm not Il_Paolo. I don’t know... the film was set in an imaginary place, maybe in Peru. But for some reason, I associate bananas with Brazil... That said, have you ever noticed how certain enemies of Bud and Terence - in motorcycle and leather - took on the features of the well-known group I allude to? To clarify your ideas, I’m posting the lyrics of one of their songs, maybe you know it: Now when the day goes to sleep and the full moon looks
And the night is so black that the darkness cooks
And you come creeping around, making me do things I don't want to do

Can't believe that she needs my love so bad
Come sneaking around, trying to drive me mad
Busting in all my dreams, making me see things I don't want to see

'Cause you're the Green Manalishi with the two-pronged crown
All night dragging us up, or you're bringing us down
Just taking my love, and slip away
Leaving me here, trying to keep from following you

So: I) "faccia da pirla" was probably dedicated to Jovanotti, according to an urban legend that was in vogue at the time. After all, during the winter of '88 - '89, the first Jovanotti was at the peak of his media prominence, resulting in him being disliked by many. I hope you remember, on Saturdays at 2 PM, the well-known show "1,2,3 casino." Beautiful was his conversion to the left in the '90s, the seal of an era. II) I now also recall the song with the chorus "me la dai o no"... which my classmate - back when I was in middle school - sang repeatedly in a provocative manner [by the way... hi, Chiara]. Good heavens, how much time has passed and what indignation not to have a Proust to take us back to the time when we were happy with a Free Company sweatshirt, not having the money for a Best Company.
