Hi guys, I just finished watching "Sapore di mare" by the Vanzina brothers – which RAI rightly broadcasts justifying the payment of the annual license fee – and, besides referring you to my review on the topic, I take this opportunity to reiterate – here where we are digressing a bit too much from "Acapulco", almost overshadowing the reviewed theme – the greatness of '80s popular cinema and the intensity of Jerry Calà. A prayer for the Dogui and for Annabella Schiavone, as well as for the legendary Ugo Bologna... and what a legend Virna Lisi is (unlike Sophia who cries for the trash of Puzzouoli)... SV Il_Paolo

Marco, please stop. If this is your attempt to provoke a reaction from me, know that it falls on deaf ears. Feel free to attack me and my reviews, but don’t play with others' illnesses and the dramas of those who—perhaps just to read a couple of lines about "Acapulco..."—find themselves forced to relive personal tragedies that you, from your PC, can't even begin to imagine. The purpose of my reviews is to entertain, to provoke thought, or even to expose the reactions of official critics and their preconceptions, not to bring sadness to people with comments as reckless as yours. Changing the subject, do you really believe the bad things they say about don Marcinkus (by the way, he married my great-aunt Lyda and my great-uncle GianTomaso, a former executive at Ambrosiano!!!)?? I don’t think so, because I find it impossible for a man devoted to religion like don Marcinkus—or even like the current Pope—to sell out his spiritual sphere for filthy money. Faithfully yours, Il_Paolo

Makeup too easy, "Il_Paolo" is written just like you just read it: terrible taste in certain comments from Poletti, I really don't understand why he is so narcissistic, conformist in trying to be smart, and ultimately conformist. Who knows.

Marco, you’re a bluff: 8:09 for me means 8:09 PM. Perfect time for a pirlo or a little snack somewhere, before the usual Friday night clubbing, which I wanted to invite you to. Would you prefer the Desenzano area or are we heading towards Como? Let me know, I’ll pick you up if you're okay with my A3. I can also take the others; I might bring my partner - Il_Mattia - who has an SUV.

Marco, take it easy. Why don't you join me in the auditions for the next "Big Brother"? Stop with your clichés about Italy; the only thing I need now is for you to tell me that Emanuela Orlandi was kidnapped to be prostituted by priests and by Marcinkus, and we’re all set!!! People like you should have faith in our country and especially in our traditions and institutions; the rest is just nonsense.

Valerio, if I were gay, I would invite you to dinner tonight. But I'm not, so go figure with the crazy one. To say that I love you debaserianamente, and that you are truly great for your synthesis and contained madness, would be too little. Really "la pazza" was friends with Claudia Koll?!?! I've become secular since I discovered how excessive flatus spiritualis can ruin the most beautiful woman of the 90s. But what happened to Annalì the perverse?

In reality, there is an antithesis: the Atalante should - if I understood correctly - be a film about Love, and the possible redemption of Man from his existential miseries (temporary?). "Acapulco," on the other hand, speaks of Man as a reproductive Animal - I would say in contrast to this film. Don't trivialize it, Marco, come on. Today I'm bringing a tub of ice cream so we can discuss these things a bit at Porta Romana. ST, Il_Paolo

Thank you Totò, your comment fortunately brings us back to the real main character of this page: the film. The rest - we know - is superstructure and interpretative derivation, from the beaches of Rimini to the sea of possible meanings of existence, in which it is sweet for me to be shipwrecked. @Jake, Finnegan, Rivoli, Venusiano: thank you from the heart!!! Knowing that I have entertained you, but also made you think, is the greatest prize for me. @Poletti: okay for "Porta Romana". See you later.

A truly touching review, my compliments. I have never seen this film, but from the way you talk about it, it should be interesting (I'll ask around for advice). From your description, in any case, it reminds me - in terms of inner and spiritual themes - of what is probably my favorite "serious" film, namely "Film Red" by Kieslowski. If only it were simple to be "simple" as this film suggests! Sincerely Yours, Il_Paolo

Poletti, your disaffection for animals reveals a seemingly barren soul. But I believe you to be a tough guy with a tender heart beneath - one of those who were unfriendly in school and kept to themselves but were really sensitive (like Elias and Tisini from III C) - and that you’ve crafted a "character" on this site that doesn’t truly reflect who you are. I can already picture you, in your free time, volunteering at the municipal dog shelters. Let yourself go and smile at the world, come on. And don't be surprised if I don't get angry.
