I share the Gandhian and Zen perspective of Vellutogrigio (I've also been wished death, but I couldn't care less, along with the counter-charms). I've never read the book, but personally, I don't believe in the "denialist" theses of Katharsys: I don't think that Jews and the Atlantic West invented the Holocaust. What's the point, after all? To justify Zionist phenomena and the creation of the State of Israel, which, in the end, is little more than a patch of desert, lacking in oil resources? To blame Hitler and his followers while denying their hypothetical historical merits (like the current legislation on animal protection in Germany, still leading the way because these people loved animals)? Or to instrumentalize Nazism from an anti-fascist perspective, and today anti-Berlusconian and correspondingly pro-communist? Or to promote a Hollywood storyline like Spielberg's Schindler's List? I would say no, it would be an exaggerated lie in relation to the purpose. And besides, where would those millions of deaths have gone? Come on, the Holocaust really happened.

The return of the Maestro! Applause-worthy, because the writing style is more Fellini-esque than Fellini himself.

Dear Mien, in late 2001, I found myself at the home of a certain Erica. As she decorated everything to celebrate her twenty-second birthday, I entertained myself with her mother, who I discovered was a Berlusconian, while I wanted to ask her about Mario Praz. Anyway. So Erica's mother starts telling me, "Ah, our poor Berlusconi, no one wants him, no one trusts him, etc. etc." I kept quiet, feeling upset, thinking of Iva Zanicchi. The other day – late 2008 – I found myself in a bar with a girl who, although kind and willing, asked me, "But Il_Paolo, are you really convinced that you're left-wing?? Come with us!!! What are you doing here??" In seven years, nothing had changed! I remained silent, rushed to the computer, and wrote about Iva Zanicchi. You deserve these anecdotes because your comments are enlightening. Thank you. ST, Il_Paolo

I remember "Indiani Padani" or similar bands from the early '90s - when they tried to bridge the sounds of Litfiba and Ligabue (how sad), and, in particular, the song "Chiara devi vincere" or something like that, with a text that wasn't even terrible. I vote for the mention.

Thank you all. I will say that I’m not exactly thrilled with my literary debut; the review could have been written better, but I was a bit out of sorts when I wrote it. The comparison with Hannah Arendt’s book doesn’t seem bad to me – it's an interesting twist of Fate – since, in my opinion, our Ivona embodies the "banality of good." SV, Il_Paolo

The review is very nice, well done. I followed the group more or less until "Magician Birthday," I heard this album in 2001 from a friend, not bad. Now I'm a bit confused: I don't think Gary Thain met the same fate as Keith Relf; rather, I believe he had a shock, left the group, and then sadly ended up in an overdose (he was a great bassist, though). Could you describe the cook Guerrino to me, please, and tell me that he is "La sentinella" of Lamon?

I've always been intrigued specifically because of the Smurfs. I have always preferred the red salad and, above all, the radicchio di Treviso to "Chick-Corea" (pronounce the jazz musician's name in an American way to get the joke). Rather, I ask for serious guidance regarding Return of Forever, in view of a potential purchase. Best regards and great Jake Chambers.

A beautiful essay from the third year of classical high school. I've always found it amusing how fragments of Greek poets and those enthusiasts get excited over half a surviving line, considering it pure poetry, like "I watch the silent stars," "To you I pour, oh muses," "Kiss me with pain-laden lips," "The Falerno and the ashen locks": I mean!

My favorite is "Sweet and Low" (which I had the courage to dedicate to a person who is indeed short and sweet), but "Rend It" also really grabs me.
