Really brave! The record, to me, is nothing phenomenal. I certainly didn’t miss it.

I don't know if the old folks played great in Rome or not. I wasn’t there and I’ll never go see them, that’s for sure. However, during their world tour, they were booed many times in the early dates. The reasons? Well, they always claimed it was due to humidity (believe me, Banks said that) and the terrible acoustics of the venues they played in. But some songs, according to a friend of mine who saw them abroad, were unlistenable. Now you might say: they needed a period of adjustment!! Well, I’m almost 50 and I saw Genesis with Gabriel here in Reggio Emilia. To be honest, I only had the chance to see and hear 2 songs. They weren’t monsters live back then, but the feelings they provoked, I don’t think can be compared to the recent concert in Rome. With all due respect to those who love Genesis always and anyway, especially the Genesis of the '80s.

But did you know that he also did a duet – musically speaking, of course!! – with Brian Ferry?????????

I find this album very interesting. I like the power of the band that, alas, I believe has run out of ideas. Their latest work doesn't convince me, except for a few songs. But that's not much. Great review from you. Bye.
