The Police Every Breath You Take
Voto:
Pleasant song (I've never liked Sting, anyway) akin to Slave to Love by Ferry or More than This by Roxy Music (more or less around the same period). I believe the first Police album contains the best of the best of their output. I saw them in Mestre and they impressed me. Especially that monster Copeland.

Well! It’s not my thing. Maybe he was the King of Pop. Maybe he was the best in his musical field. Maybe no one danced like him. Maybe he was ill, mentally speaking. But to turn him into a myth and a martyr... come on!! I’m tired of hearing all this hype about the movie where they say you see a perfectly healthy and fit M.J. Sure, who knows what kind of cocktail he was drinking to stay upright. Kudos to his family. He’s worth more dead than alive. The same old scene!!!!!!!
Blackmore's Night Fires at Midnight

I have very little to say about the album, because I must have listened to it thanks to a temporary loan. I have few memories, anyway. But it didn’t impress me. Apparently, there are many admirers of this medieval adventure of Blackmore. Personally, I struggle to follow it. However, maybe I should pay more attention to these albums of his. At least out of respect.

Have patience, but guess why I don't give a rating to this song?

You have clearly expressed your ideas on the matter. As for the band, I will refrain from commenting, because I have always found them overrated. Indeed, they didn't invent anything new. Plus, that "beautiful and damned" look made me feel sick.

Bought a few hours ago. Listened to it 2 times. Fantastic. Although Wayne hides a bit too much, vocally speaking, I find this latest turn by F.L. remarkable. To fully digest it, I will definitely need another 4-5 listens. BUT so far it promises really well and riding the wave of enthusiasm, I’m sticking a nice 5 stars on it!!!
Elton John Made in England

Cover photo aside (horrendous to say the least), I completely respect your admiration for E.J. If you and I knew each other well, I would jokingly and teasingly ask you: "..but how can you still listen to this singer?". Personally, as you may have already gathered, Elton has been dead and buried for at least 30 years. I might be too harsh and snobbish, but this artist suddenly became a purveyor of schlock. Bear with me, I'm flawed too! Bye

Since it stimulates testosterone, I'm even more curious now. Your review is good, very good. Hi

...wow! I'll take note of that. As I've already mentioned, I limited myself to what I found on YouTube. I remember seeing a nice DVD of the Earthling tour, filmed in N.Y. I was impressed by the versatile lead guitarist who, aside from his visible belly, was truly the backbone of the whole band. Then, Bowie acoustic on some tracks from Hunky Dory... fantastic!!!!
