Here I am again.

I don't know what to write, nor how to write it.

Is it the lack of practice, or the disorientation?

Deconstructed music, a stream of consciousness, a Joycean machine, as that madman Daniel Dennett would say...

A lot of noise, a lot of psychedelia.

Obsessive rhythms.

Sometimes they remind me of Hawkwind's Doremi Fasol Latido.

Something I've never heard before in the FL albums (not even the very first ones).

IT IS NOT POP

The illegitimate child of "Zaireeka" (the latter much easier).

Cousin of "Yerself is Steam".

They stayed on Mars.

Light years away from Pop.

They continued to compose the acid soundtrack for the Red Planet.

Light years away from "At the War with the Mystics".

It will (re)conquer new fans (and lose just as many).

Honor to You, Courageous Captains.

The Ágætis Byrjun of FL (in the literal sense).

I don't know if you'll publish me (do "Literary Cases" still exist?).

But it's all the same.

Is this really the true new album, or am I imagining it?

I lean towards the second hypothesis.

Even though "Convinced Of The Hex", "The Impulse" (the most pop), and "Silver Trembling Hands", the three published tracks, are exactly those of the EP purchased online some time ago (the most normal, no doubt about it).

An album like this SHOULD NEVER BE MADE PUBLIC.

I don't know if I'll listen to it again.

Just looking at the cover will be enough...

PS.

But is "If" a real song or a work in progress, or better, an embryo?
