I trust your judgment blindly. I will keep this record in mind. Thank you.

If you love Dream Theater to death... amen. I find them whiny and boring. But I respect your views. Regarding the album in question, it seems to me an unnecessary and anachronistic product. All those bands mentioned, I loved (and still love!!) and partially followed in real-time. I’m 50 years old, so I started buying - much to my mother's delight - ELP, King Crimson, Genesis, Yes, VDGG, etc. Covering some unforgettable tracks from the '70s prog today feels like blasphemy to me. At least for me. Bye.

I hope you’ll throw the Oasis out the window now. Joking aside, this is probably Weller's best work, in my opinion.

If you're referring to what I wrote about Comfortably Numb, I agree with you. The song and Gilmour's final solo perhaps represent the pinnacle of the work The Wall. Certainly, Gilmour's technique here will be etched in the minds and ears of many for life. I simply say that this "specifically" is one among the many guitar solos that deserve 5 stars.

...but you know how many times I've read, in certain magazines, that among the most beautiful guitar solos in history to remember are those included in: Stairway to Heaven, Aqualung, and Comfortably Numb? Logically, there are many others. Ranking is always silly and therefore pointless. Of course, in addition to greatly appreciating the aforementioned pieces, personally (just to give one example among the many, and totally personal) I jump out of my chair when I hear Fripp's solo on Baby's on Fire.

The Pink Floyd died with the recording of The Dark Side of the Moon (a phrase quoted by Waters himself a few years ago).

Well done! You remembered an immense artist who still had so much to say. I seem to recall that before getting into that damned helicopter, he had just performed with Clapton. And, if I remember correctly, the chronicles of the time declared a tennis-like score of 6-0 6-0 in favor of SRV. Clapton was eclipsed by the skill of his fellow guitarist.
