I almost agree with comment number 5. Or rather, I completely understand it, since I also have friends who seem to have awakened musically with U2's War and the like. I only own three albums by this band, and it has been years since I last listened to them. Basically, I find them... outdated, or dull. In short, I certainly don’t miss them. I also believe that U2 is just a band to see live. Their albums from the last two decades are truly pathetic, to say the least. By now, they are incredibly rich and snobbish, so they can afford these million-euro stages. They could perform with less theatrics and donate more pounds to African and South American populations (right, bono vox, hypocrite?).

It's not among my favorites. I much prefer the first period up to Atom.. and Meddle. Still, this rock opera remains remarkable. Does anyone claim that the band in question is overrated? I would like to know why. In what sense?
