In the future??? Does this mean they'll be a pain in the ass for many years? Well, there are worse things out there. I haven't listened to the album yet, but I have listened to the lead single. Since I've heard it 4-5 times, I can firmly say it's really bad. Who knows about the rest... Anyway, I'll make sure to check it out as soon as possible.

Indeed, it’s not among the works of Winwood & co. that I prefer. I agree with you as it is a somewhat successful album. Certainly of good quality, but the true masterpieces of Traffic are different. As a long-time fan, I still have the vinyl along with many others from this band that I still listen to often while watching my wife's horrified face.

It didn't excite me at the time. However, after several listens, I've re-evaluated it a bit. A 3, maybe 3 and a half feels just right. The extra half point is for the respect I have for this artist.

Thank you. This album has received mild and sparse reviews. You, in a very thorough way, have well described this work. VDGG always remains among my favorites along with King Crimson. Present was a pleasant surprise for me. Not a masterpiece (but who makes those anymore?) and I listen to it with pleasure. Of course, it makes my heart ache knowing that Jackson is no longer part of the band. So the band is....lame, don't you think? Anyway, you convinced me to buy it as soon as possible. Bye.
