If you want to tell me that video game programming is not part of the fine arts, then we can agree on that. However, if you put Manzoni, Lady Gaga, Giuliano Ferrara, and Corona in the same sentence, even if you don’t consider their works "art," you somewhat confirm my thesis.

…said he who takes his name from the Nintendo Entertainment System. Come on, are we still on this story?! Don’t you realize that by renouncing that concept, you’re renouncing who you are?! Contradictory right from the name… While you think of your own definition of art that I would like to hear, let me post one (a random one) from Wikipedia: ā€œArt, in its broadest sense, encompasses any human activity – carried out individually or collectively – that leads to creative forms of aesthetic expression, based on technical skills, innate abilities, and behavioral norms derived from study and experience.ā€ So, the programmer is an artist; you, who play (who entertain yourself, who kill time thanks to the creations and skills of someone else, just like when you stop to watch a street artist) with his product and set up your own virtual identity on it, it’s clear that you are not. :D So, to your last sentence, I would add a righteous "imho," otherwise it’s just laughable, especially with that tone. :D
